Thai Cigarette Packs


In class today, simplyjessie07, AdderEmcee and I were searching online for examples of advertisement with fallacies. That's when we came across this one blog in which they talked about the cigarette packs from Thai. According to the site, each cigarrete packs now must have 50% of the package covered with graphic warnings. This was very shocking and interesting to me. I think that this will definitely prevent young people from becoming smokers. I don't know if it'll help people quit smoking, but I seriously believe that there won't be that many people who would start smoking after seeing these disturbing images. Wow, interesting approach. Imagine if that were required for things like guns, or fast food, or alcohol. Can you image the kinds of things they would have to put on those covers?????
