Appeal to Authority: "World's best tasting vodka". It sounds like an authority, but then, who said it? Who made that statement? Grey Goose Vodka itself did. Therefore, it can't represent a real authority.

Yes, of course. Bald assertion without support represents an assumption of oneself as authority. And in this case, the only ID we have here is the Goose him or her self.

A real authority? Perhaps, but not real good. Appeal to Authority gets it.
