If we respond to the fallacies on the blog posted by the professor, would it be counted towards the ten fallacies that need to be submitted by the end of the semester???
I think responding to the fallacies on the blog won't count towards the ten fallacies that is needed to be submitted, but I'm not sure. However, commenting on it will definitely count towards the 30 blog posts/comments you need.
I also think it counts - Professor Crandall is doing everything he can to make it easier for us to complete the assignment and get more blog entries in.
FOLKS, this is the professor's final answer on this one. It contradicts some earlier things that were said:
YES, FALLACIES POSTED WILL BE COUNTED.
YES, COMMENTS ON OTHER'S POSTS WILL ALSO BE COUNTED EQUALLY.
Posts you want to count towards fallacy credit should be pretty thorough, though, since the professor will be evaluating how well students analyze the fallacies, not just giving blog post credit.
(Although students will get blog post credit, too).

I believe that is correct.

I think it does count for our ten fallacies. This is interesting that we all are on a different page

Sorry, folks, but each person should actually FIND ten fallacies. However, the comments on the fallacies absolutely do count as blog entries.
Some may also find that it's a good way to get a feel for analyzing these fallacies.
